Payment policy


Welcome to Kweo. Our payment policy describes the policies that apply to users that register a Site account (“Subscribers”). Free Subscribers are not required to provide a credit card number. All paid plans (“Subscriptions”) must enter a valid credit card. Kweo will automatically charge your credit card monthly, depending upon which payment option you select. If any fee is not paid in a timely manner, or Kweo is unable to process your transaction using the credit card information provided, Kweo reserves the right to suspend or revoke access to your account. By signing up for a Kweo account and providing Kweo with your payment account information, you hereby agree to this Payment Policy. When you confirm a monthly Subscription on Kweo, you will be charged at the time of confirmation for the following one month (or for the pro rata remainder of time in your current billing cycle if you already have an existing Subscription), and on a monthly recurring basis thereafter, unless and until you cancel your Subscription. Add-ons for a single account are non-transferrable and may be used on Sites that are owned, operated and registered to that Site account holder within Kweo. Kweo reserves the right to contact you about special pricing if you maintain an exceptionally high number of End Users, an unusually high number of page impressions or other excessive stress on the Service. Pricing Plan Changes

Kweo may change the fees and charges in effect, or add new fees and charges from time to time, but we will give you advance notice of these changes by email. If you want to use a different credit card or if there is a change in your credit card validity or expiration date, you may edit your information by accessing your account page. If your credit card reaches its expiration date, your continued use of the Kweo constitutes your authorization for us to continue billing that credit card and you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information and payment information current and updated.

Taxes Excluded

Unless otherwise stated, our charges do not include any taxes, levies, duties or similar governmental assessments, including value-added, sales, use or withholding taxes assessable by any local, state, provincial or foreign jurisdiction (collectively “Taxes”). You are responsible for paying Taxes except those assessable against Kweo based on its income. We will invoice you for such Taxes if we believe we have a legal obligation to do so and you agree to pay such Taxes if so invoiced.

No Refunds

Kweo is billed monthly and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits in relation to monthly Subscriptions cancelled after the Subscription start date. There will be no upgrade/downgrade refunds, no refunds or credits for partially used periods and no refund for periods unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.

Plan Downgrades

When you downgrade or otherwise cancel an account during a billing period, the downgrade or cancellation will take effect at the end of that billing period. The billing Subscription remains in place for the billing period, but plan features are immediately downgraded when you change plan levels. For example, if you downgrade from the professional plan those features immediately will not be available, but you can re-upgrade to the professional level plan any time within the billing cycle without being charged again. Downgrading your Service may cause the loss of Content, features, or capacity of your account. Kweo does not accept any liability for such loss.

Plan Cancellations

Subject to any conditions and cancellation fees noted above, you may cancel your Subscription at any time by contacting customer service at You cannot suspend your Subscription. Either you or Kweo may elect to terminate your account and Subscription to the Service as of the end of your then current Subscription term by providing notice at least two days prior to the date of the next renewal . Unless your account and Subscription to the Service is so terminated, your Subscription to the Service will renew for a Subscription term equivalent in length to the then expiring Subscription term. Unless otherwise provided for in any form, the charges applicable to your plan to the Service for any such subsequent Subscription term shall be our standard charges for the plan to which you have subscribed as of the time such subsequent Subscription term commences. Following the termination or cancellation of your Subscription to the Service, we reserve the right to delete all your data in the normal course of operation. Your data may not be recovered once your account is cancelled. Kweo reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Service (or any part thereof), your account or your End Users’ rights to access and use the Service, and remove, disable and discard any of your data if we believe that you or End Users have violated our Terms of Service, Payments Policy, Fair Use Policy and Privacy Policy (“Policies”). There will be no refunds or credits if we believe that you or End Users have violated our Terms and Policies. Unless legally prohibited from doing so, Kweo will use commercially reasonable efforts to contact you directly via email to notify you when taking any of the foregoing actions. Kweo shall not be liable to you or End Users or any other third party for any such modification, suspension or discontinuation of your rights to access and use the Service. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity by you, agents or End Users may be referred to law enforcement authorities at our sole discretion.

Credit Card Privacy

Kweo uses a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing and this intermediary is not permitted to store, retain or use your billing information except to process your credit card information for Kweo.
